Supporting Homeless People and Their Companion Animals

Homelessness and mental health are deeply connected. For many people experiencing homelessness, their dog is their closest companion and source of emotional support. By helping people care for both themselves and their pets, we're supporting mental wellbeing and the human-animal bond that provides comfort during difficult times.

Our Vision

We're developing a program to provide meal deals to homeless individuals and their dogs. Each £4.50 donation will provide:

  • A meal deal for the person (food and water)
  • Wet and dry dog food
  • Hydration for both person and pet

Current Status

Total raised to date: £0 - Not yet launched

Launch status: We are currently in the planning stages and seeking partners to help distribute donations safely and effectively to those who need them most.

Why This Matters

The bond between homeless individuals and their dogs provides crucial emotional support and companionship. Many people refuse to access services if they can't bring their pet. By supporting both person and animal together, we're addressing mental health, dignity, and the power of companionship.
